Milenco Wheelclamp (reproduced from Caravan Buyer magazine)
A clear winner in a close-run contest between some excellent wheel clamps.
The bright yellow unit ticks all the right boxes. It covers the entire wheel, boasts strong, tubular arms, and there are no superficial casings that can be knocked off with a sledgehammer.
In the past I've found that lining up the three parts can be tricky, but on our test model it slid into place effortlessly on the first attempt and locked in seconds.
It's awkward to transport, but should fit in most front lockers.
Oh, and it's made in Britain.

Can also be used on car alone? Yes
As a visual deterrent? Very good
Withstood our five-minute attack? Yes
Rating: Fitting: One of the easiest clamps to fit.
Verdict: Milenco wheelclamp has been improved in recent years. In fact we were very taken with the resistance it offered to attack.
It's lighter than the Bulldog Titan, which makes it ideal for touring, and the lock can't be drilled or driven out.
In addition, the tubular arms have been designed to offer maximum resistance to being prised or cut.
Note that although fitting the lock is a straightforward process, the actual lock mechanism allows only a narrow gap for the interlocking section to slot into, so it's important to make sure that both sides are carefully lined up before fitting.
